Payment Window for e-Challans
After getting an e-Challan, you have 60 days from the issue date to pay the fine. This allows you enough time to make the payment easily on the https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in/ website.
What will happen if the Challan Payment is not done after 60 days?
If you don't pay the e-Challan within 60 days, here's what happens:
- Traffic Police Visit: A traffic police officer will come to your address to collect the unpaid fine.
- Court Summons: If you can't pay during the visit, you'll get a court summons to address the unpaid e-Challan.
